About Us
More than 160 years ago, Pension Hertenstein was built on the idyllic Hertenstein Peninsula in Weggis. From its earliest years, the hotel had the privilege of welcoming a number of distinguished guests, including Queen Victoria, King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the American writer Mark Twain, who described the peninsula as the most beautiful place on earth.
