Scale the skies in the world’s steepest cable car
After you level on to the plateau at 4250 feet above sea level, you can keep ascending the Fronalpstock using the chairlift. The two-hour walk along the mountain ridges up to the Klingenstock is a must-do once you reach 6250 feet. This walk will treat you to a spectacular view of more than ten of Switzerland’s lakes, as well as innumerable Alpine mountaintops – firm footing and a head for heights required.
